PM Surya Ghar and UP assistance: how to read the figures
The structure below separates published central assistance from potential Uttar Pradesh assistance for eligible household grid-connected rooftop systems. A capacity label is not a guarantee of eligibility, approval or payment. Read the current official guidance and confirm the status of the state component before deciding how much funding you need.
Before applying
Check the consumer connection, applicant details and roof-use records. Register and follow the National Portal process, select an eligible participating vendor and verify the equipment requirements. Use the bill and portal instructions rather than a general marketing checklist as the final authority for documents.
Keep a complete project record
Retain the quotation, agreement, invoice, equipment details and application reference. Follow the applicable feasibility, inspection and commissioning steps. Supply the banking details required for benefit transfer through the approved process. Track central and state claims separately where separate submissions or confirmations are required.
Do not confuse assistance with bank finance
A bank application, preliminary assessment, final loan sanction and subsidy credit are different events. Confirm the lender's requirements and repayment terms. An expected subsidy is not cash already received, and an installation agreement is not a loan-sanction letter.
When rules or amounts change
Ask the company to identify the official source for the figures in its proposal. The rates and notes on this website are editable and should be reviewed when the authorities issue changes. Request a revised written financial estimate if a component is unavailable or your project is not eligible.
